Step Right Up, it’s Time for the Fair!
Salutations from yours truly, A.J. Vagabond!
I am but a humble intrepid globetrotting adventurer, but there is one thing I cannot hide and that is my Texas pride! The pinnacle of my pride is the great State fair of Texas! No other state can boast of all of the attractions, the crowds, the foods, and of course, Big Tex! Our fine fair has it all!
When the State Fair kicks off on Friday, Sept 30, you can make sure that you’re one well-dressed fairgoer with this AJ Vagabonds’ exclusive tee that’s worthy of a first-place blue ribbon:
Feeling a little more subtle?
You can elegantly rock this hand-stamped necklace bearing the outline of our great state.
Wear it with Pride!
Celebrate the year Texas became part of the US with this AJV Original "1845 Texas" iron-on patch! This stylish and minimal design is the perfect addition to a backpack, hat, or anywhere else you can iron it on to!
For the folks back home:
If you feel like dropping a line to the folks back home to remind them you’re taking in the lights and sights in Big D, you’ll want to pick up this postcard:
Events Coming Up!
If you’d prefer to do a little celebrating with some German flair, you’re in glück (that’s German for luck)! AJ Vagabonds world headquarters will be in the middle of a delightful Oktoberfest celebration on October 2nd. Come raise a glass of beir and yell, “Prost!” with us (it sounds cooler than “Cheers!” especially when you’re wearing lederhosen!
Finally, autumn is upon us! And If you’re ready to leaf this broiling summer behind and fall in love with one of the best hiking spots in the area, you’ll want to go on the First Day of Fall Hike at Cedar Hill State Park located just a few minutes south of downtown Dallas.
This ranger-led hike marks the first official morning of fall on Sat. Sept. 24.. State park admission in $7.
While I do enjoy our newsletter correspondence, it’s always a delight to see you in person! Do stop by the store to say hello!
Until next time…
